Milton Keynes Mens 1sts hover just one place above the Southern Premier Division 1 relegation zone after their 10th defeat of the season on Saturday.

Taking on mid-table side Lewes, MK battled out a five-goal thriller, but came out on the wrong end of a 3-2 scoreline, with goals coming from Jamie Dodd and Mikey Gilson.

Fourth placed MK 2nds failed to close the gap to Marlow 2nds in MBBO Regional 2 as the pair shared a 2-2 draw.

The 3rds recorded a 2-0 win over Windsor, but the 4ths went down 4-1 to Leighton Buzzard 2nds.

The Ladies 1sts picked up a valuable victory in the South Club Women’s Hockey League Division 3A to stay 10th in the table.

The win proves especially important after the team, with Wallingford, who sit second from bottom and one place behind MK, pulling off the shock of the weekend beating West Hampstead 5-0.

The 2nds were 5-1 winners against Gerrards Cross, but the 3rds lost 3-0 to table-topping Sonning.
