Louis who is ranked at 112 in the country was certainly up for the challenge and played very well but despite looking a little off form James was too strong taking a 3-0 win 11-5, 11-7, 11-5.

The semi final pitted James against Derbyshire’s Christopher Jarram. James was really fired up now and despite some big hitting from his larger and older opponent, James looked in total control playing some imperious squash taking the win 3-0, 11-2, 11-4, 11-5.

And so James found himself in his fourth final in his last 5 events, taking on a player he has met on two previous occasions, Wiltshire’s number 1, Marcus Wales.

The match attracted a decent crowd and both players seemed relaxed in the warm up. Once underway the match provided the appreciative crowd either some great rallies but as in the previous meetings James proved that he was a class above taking his second U13 tournament victory 3-0, 11-4, 11-1, 11-4.
