The visitors reached 228-8 from their 53 overs, with Ahad Khan taking 3-17 and Hayden Symmonds taking 2-9 to do the damage in the middle order. But rain began to fall between innings meant the game had to end at the halfway point, and the sides had to share the points.

In Division 3, Wolverton’s game with Oxford Downs was postponed without a ball being bowled, as was the game between Great Brickhill 2nds and Banbury 3rds.

There was some play between Bletchley and Dinton 2nds though. Dinton were bowled out for 124, with Jude Ramanadanpulle 4-38, but the rain set in and put paid to the game at the interval.

Chris King hit 115 for Wolverton 2nds (194-4) but their game with Cublington 2nds also ended at the break.
