MK Knights secured their spot in the play-offs with a resounding victory over the Belle Vue Colts at the weekend.

Despite falls for both Sam Chapman and Shaun Tedham the Knights were too strong for a brave Colts side, seeing them off 24-11 to ensure their season gets extended.

Surprise package of the day was Tom Bacon, in his first full season in Speedway who scored an impeccable maximum nine points from three rides.

Knights have proved to be neigh-on impossible to beat at home this season, picking up nine wins out of nine at West Row - their home away from home.

Rumours continue to rumble on though regarding their future, with reports earlier this month surfacing about a potential return to Milton Keynes.

With the Milton Keynes MK Knights assured of a play off place the team now await news of who they will face in the play-offs once the season cut off has been reached on Saturday September 20.

Assured of finishing top of the league the MK Knights will be in a position to choose home or away for the first leg of the play-offs.
