Knights put Hitmen in their place with comprehensive win

MK Knights stamped their authority on their meeting with Buxton Hitmen from the very off, dominating their opponents 28-8 on Sunday.

From Heat 1, Jez Pestell and Niall Strudwick passed either side of the Buxton Hitmen’s No.1 to record the first of five 5-1 scorelines in a dominant display.

With Connor Mountain again stepping in at the last minute the Knights put on a dominant performance against a depleted Buxton in a win which now see’s them eight points clear of their nearest rivals Coventry.

With Niall Strudwick, scoring 6+3 Bonus points, allied to the usual strong riding of Sam Chapman 7+1 and Jez Pestell 8+1 saw the MK Knights record a 28-8 win and maintain their unbeaten run at home.

Knights now face back-to -back meetings this weekend, away to Stoke in the league on Saturday and home to Rye House in the KO Cup on Sunday at West Row Mildenhall.
