Emily Marshall claimed her second Bucks Junior County Closed title as her four-year streak to the finals continued.

The tennis ace from Stony Stratford Tennis Club, won 6-4,7-5 to claim the 12&U title, her second county crown while continuing her streak of having reached the final for the fifth year in succession.

Stony also had Kyle Babbage in the 11&U boys and Shravanti Venkatakrishnan in the 11&U girls finals, but both missed out on wins.

Director of Tennis, John Cavill, said: "It's been a great week and we had all the players parents on a WhatsApp group, keeping everyone updated on the results and sending pictures.

"The whole Team Stony ethos was there to be seen as everyone encouraged and supported each other.

"It's always nice to win but I think this is only another stepping stone for us to move these players on and I'm so proud of the way they had conducted themselves. It's exciting times and we're enjoying the journey!"
