Red Bull Racing have ended rumours of Christian Horner’s sacking by extending the team boss’ contract.
Horner had been subject to paddock speculation with regards to his immediate future with the Tilbrook team, who have struggled to find their feet in 2015.
However, the rumour has been swept aside, with Red Bull confirming Horner had recently signed a contract extension.
Horner was appointed team principal in 2005 when Dietrich Mateschitz bought Jaguar. Winning the team’s first race in 2009, Horner oversaw an era of dominance from Tilbrook as the team won both the driver’s and constructor’s championships between 2010 and 2013.
