Daniil Kvyat will be at the wheel today (Tuesday) as Red Bull take part in the second pre-season test in Barcelona.
The Russian completed 170 laps around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, posting the sixth fastest time of the four-day event, as he and team-mate Daniel Ricciardo put valuable mileage on the new RB12.
The pair will alternate between the days, with Ricciardo set to take over on Wednesday and Friday ahead of the first race on March 20 in Melbourne, Australia.
Despite promising times over one lap, Red Bull could be under threat from Force India and sister team Toro Rosso - both of whom have posted some impressive figures in the first test.
While the team have labelled 2016 a ‘transitional year’ with their own in-house engine project coming to fruition, the Renault base is proving significantly more powerful than it was 12 months ago.
