Teenager Will Tregurtha has retaken the Ginetta Juniors Championship lead after a double podium finish at Snetterton at the weekend.
Tregurtha stormed into a 25 point lead in the standings and looked in great form around the Norfolk circuit.
Tregurtha’s weekend got off to a perfect start when he took pole position in qualifying by 0.25 of a second.
In a typically close and exciting seven laps round the three mile circuit, Tregurtha eventually had to settle for third place.
That meant he had to start third in the second race on Sunday afternoon but a brilliant start meant had the lead after the second corner. Following a frenetic battle, Tregurtha again finished third on the road - but a penalty handed out to winner Dan Harper elevated Tregurtha into second.
