It was better news for Freddy Liggins, who came sixth in qualification to make it through to the finals. And although it was his first British Championships, the youngster showed no signs of nerves by improving his scores enough to get on the finalk step of the podium, taking home a bronze medal with a score of 91.700.

In the 11-12 category, Gabriella Miles took fifth spot in the girl’s competition, while Jake Parry came fourth in the boy’s event, with Robert Missen fifth. Malakai Bojang, performing in a new age category, just missed out on qualifying for the finals.

Jack Leahy, performing in the 13-14 category, completed some difficult routines but qualifying comfortably first for the final. And another incredible routine blew the field away as he was crowned British Champion, improving on his silver medal from last year.

Jacob Tuck and Kieran Craig were next up in the 15–16 category next to the seniors this was the hardest group to be in with all four of the European Championship winning team being in this age group they had a big task ahead, both boys landed their skills and had an overall fantastic competition it just wasn’t quite enough in difficulty to be able to make a finals appearance.
