MK Netters are on the verge of a major achievement with two of their squads on the brink of qualification for the National Club Finals.
On Saturday, both the U14s and U16s squads are in action at Hazeley Academy Milton Keynes for their final matches in the league, after which they will know if they have qualified for the National Club finals meaning they are already one of the top 18 clubs in the country.
Netters have never had two age groups qualifying at the same time so this weekend could see them doing the double for the area and raising the standard of netball in Milton Keynes.
It all started In September 2015 when they travelled South to take part in the South Regional qualifiers the top 8 clubs in the region that get through form a league for each age group playing each other twice.
The top two clubs from the league go on to represent the South region National Club finals in their age group.
The U14 National finals are in Redbridge Essex, and the U16 National Finals are in Northumbria – both taking place in May.
The U16s are in action from 10am, while the U14s start at midday on Saturday.
