Netters ranked fourth in country

MK Netters finished fourth in a competition of the best teams in the country in Redbridge.

The tournament brought together the top 18 clubs in the country after previous local county and regional tournaments and leagues that had over 1000 clubs trying to get into the final 18.

Netters battled it out and secured a place in top six but ended up in a group with two of the other top teams in the country.

In addition, four members of the squad were talent identified by England selectors which delighted their coach Julie Tucker.

The U16s were also in action at the start of May and also brought home eighth place in the country after being fielded in a very difficult pooling group on the first day of the tournament.
