Burling narrowly misses out on a new MMKAC record
Ryan was just a second outside the 5km record
Ryan Burling was just a second away from setting a new MMKAC record last weekend.
In his first race since lockdown, Burling clocked 14:35 for 5km, just a second outside Sam Winters’ record set earlier this year.

Hide AdFollowing the success of last month’s 5km event, the latest race sold out within 24 hours, and saw 153 runners clock new PBs.
Second fastest for MMKAC was Conrad Webber (15.00) followed by Jamie Seddon (15.25), Elliot Hind (15.49), Ian Wood (16.26).
Imogen King with a PB of 18.52 was the first lady with Kate Edwards (21.35) next and then Debra Brent (22.09).
