Carl claims the summer league opener at Furzton
A GIN clear Furzton turned MKAA's summer league opener into something of a lottery – but class came shining through!
And Maver MK's Carl Yeowell finished up way out front with 59-3 of bream as Ex-Tackle Hub's Roly McEneaney made runner-up with 47-9. Maver MK White's Dave Martin had 43-6 and Team Erm man Paul Chapman 28-3.

OLNEY's long awaited 24 hour match was called off at the weekend after national publicity had flagged up the town as a 'party venue' with wonderful 'wild-water' swimming from its riverside green spaces.
As thousands of unwanted visitors departed, locals were left to clear up crate-loads of laughing gas ampoules along with mountains of other rubbish. Olney club's Ian Barnes said: "It was unbelievable. We had to callthe match off, it just wasn't worth the aggro of trying to go ahead."

DECENT chub have been being caught along Olney's river with Ian Barnes getting a 5-12, Pete Lima a 5-11, Andy Garner a 5-8 and Tony Kerslake a 5.
