After a long day in rainy conditions the MMK U20/U17 Team achieved a great win to preserve their status in the Midlands Premier (NE) Division for another season.

Competing at Tipton, West Midlands, MMK won convincingly with 498 points ahead of Charnwood (415), Wolverhampton (407), Solihull (366), Tipton (294) and Kidderminster (138).

Among many excellent results was the debut by Lloyd Tanganyika who won the M20 800m, 1500m and 3000m as well as anchoring the M20 4x400m relay team to the final win of the day.
