Cross Country success for MK's athletes
Twelve MMK runners represented Buckinghamshire in the Inter-County Cross Country Championships at Prestwold Hall near Loughborough.
The best MMK results came in the Under 20 Men’s race, with Matthew Dicks 46th, Finlay Gibbs 56th and Robert Hickman 68th in the scoring Bucks Team that finished 10th.

Hide AdLara Bromilow was 59th in the Senior Women’s race, with Leo Freeland 70th in the Under 17 Men’s Race.
In the Senior Men’s race Steve Tuttle was 104th, seven places ahead of his brother, James.
Tim Penley (M17) added 16cms to his own club indoor pole vault record with a vault of 3.92m in Cardiff. Tim, back in January had leapt 3.76m to add a centimetre to the previous record first set back in 1992. On this form Tim will be looking to make the UK top ten with the outdoor season starting soon.
His younger brother Jamie (M17) added 2cms to his best with 2.22m.

Hide AdKayleigh Presswell, in her first hammer competition of the year, finished second in a high-quality competition at Loughborough with 61.07m, just 57cms shy of her club record. Last year Kayleigh was ranked 14th in the UK rankings and will surely e be looking forward to improve this during 2020.
