Last season, Red Bull secured two victories and a total of 13 podium finishes - all of them bar one third place being taken by Verstapen en route to third place in the driver's championship. Sergio Perez was signed from Racing Point to replace Alex Albon after he claimed two podiums, including a brilliant win in Bahrain in the penultimate race of the season.

This year marks the final season of factory-backed Honda power for Red Bull, with the Japanese engine manufacturer withdrawing from the sport at the end of the campaign, with the team taking over the development of the power unit thereafter.

Red Bull are the third team to pull the covers from their new car, after Alpha Tauri and Alfa Romeo.
