Three Milton Keynes gymnasts claim county championships

Three members of the Arabian School of Gymnastics claimed county championships on Sunday.

Sseven gymnasts took part in the competition, with their main aim to pass their respective grade, and fight for a spot at the Regional Finals, which will take place in Southampton in April.

Their hard work leading up to the competition paid off as all seven gymnasts successfully passed their grade, with six out of the seven achieving the highest pass level of “Distinction” and all of them finishing in the top four in their respective grade.

In the Club Grade 6 category: Lydia placed fourth, Olivia placed third, Freya placed claimed the gold medal and was crowned 2020 County Champion.

In the Club Grade 5 category: Brianna finished fourth, Tilly second and Lily-Mai first to become County Champion.

In the Regional Grade 2 category: Bella claimed the gold medal and was crowned 2020 County Champion.

Olivia, Freya, Tilly, Lillie-Mai and Bella will all go forward to represent Bucks County and Arabian School of Gymnastics at the Regional Finals in April
