In a closely fought contest she was just pipped into fourth place. Isaac Cheney faced stiff opposition in the gold competition for 11-12 boys and finished seventh.

All three also represented the Southern region in the English Regions competition. Callum and Isaac were part of the silver team for the 9-12 boys’ competition. Isaac dominated the group with two high scoring routines earning him a well deserved first place. Solid routines from Callum saw him placed third and their team was placed first overall. Natalie joined the 9-12 girls’ silver team and finished in sixth place with the team awarded second overall.

Coach Paul Wolfe said: “It was an honour to be invited to compete in the first ever English Championships and an opportunity to compete against the best young trampolinists in England.”
