Two of the heroes of last season’s NBL have left Milton Keynes Badminton.
Jess Pugh and Toby Penty stunned world number five Chris Adcock and Chloe Magee in the mixed doubles as MK beat University of Nottingham.
But following their huge success, the young pair have been highly sought after in the recent round of pre-season transfers.
Pugh, 17, has been snapped up by Nottingham, while Penty has been revealed as the new captain of the Birmingham Lions.
MK have moved quickly to replace them though, and have picked up European bronze medallist Anders Kristiansen from Denmark to their ranks, as well as Lydia Powell, who played for Birmingham last season.
The new NBL season starts in November.
