League leaders Melton Mowbray made light work of an under-strength Olney side, beating them 55-8.
The visitors ran in two unanswered tries to take a 10-0 lead, before Kane Middleton kicked Olney on the board with a penalty.
But back came the leaders, running in three more tries to take a 29-3 lead.
Another try came quickly after the break as Melton Mowbray stole a scrum ball and ran it in, unconverted, to go 3-34 ahead.
Melton Mowbray continued to flex their muscles as yet another score followed as they won a lineout ball and passed it through to the winger for a converted try.
Following the kick off, Olney’s hard work was rewarded with a Phil Bowden try to reduce the arrears to 41-8.
But back came Melton Mowbray, and from an Olney penalty, they intercepted to score another try and make it 48-8.
Another swiftly followed to complete the rout, leaving Olney to lick their wounds after a 55-8 defeat.
