Olney Colts booked a spot in the quarter finals of the National Colts Cup by the finest of margins as they saw off Hereford on Saturday.
Olney took an early lead when Ryan Hammett scored an try in the corner.
The home side had chances to extend their lead further, but high winds meant the kicking game was difficult and penalties went awry, though Hereford managed to get one over the bar to make it 5-3 at the break.
Hereford threw everything at Olney in the second half and took the lead when they touched down between the posts, and the conversion meant it was 10-5.
But there would be one last twist as, in the final play, Eliot Simpson found a gap to touch down. While the kick was missed, Olney went through on tries scored.
