Olney handed out a one-sided thrashing to local rivals Northampton BBOB on Saturday, winning 43-0.
Brendan Kerr got the scoring started after seven minutes, with Jordan Letts kicking the extras to put Olney 7-0 ahead.
They powered over again six minutes later before Steve Harrison touched down just before the interval, extending the lead to 17-0.
There was still time for Jack Sutton to score Olney’s fourth just before half time, and Letts’ extras meant the score at the break was 24-0 to the home team.
Olney were reduced to 14 men when Jon Brice was shown a yellow card, but it didn’t stop them from extending their lead when Ollie Simmons crossed over, and another conversion from Letts.
Olney added a further score through Kerr again, converted by Letts, following good work by the forwards in the lineout. This took the score to 38-0.
The score could have been greater, but for some overly elaborate rugby in a bid to get everyone on the scoresheet.
But a second try for Harrison though finished the affair at 43-0.
