Saints hold on to deny Stony Stratford
Stony Stratford were frustrated by Northampton Saints on Saturday as they had to take a winning draw at Ostlers Lane.
Praveen Chandran led the way for Stony, scoring 69 of the home side’s 259 runs.
Vicram Sohal was the undoubted star with the ball as he caused havoc for Saints, taking 5-53, but it wouldn’t be enough as the visitors held on, despite being eight wickets down, to score 226 and deny Stony the win.
