Seven up for MK Hockey in destruction of Guildford

Milton Keynes picked up their second win of the South Premier Division season in emphatic fashion as they ruthlessly put Guildford to the sword on Saturday, winning 7-0.

Having suffered a disappointing loss last week to Henley, MK looked to immediately bounce back with a win, and they did so in some style.

They took the lead after 14 minutes when Liam Foster got his first of the season at the back post. It would be the first of many for the ‘goalster’ though.

It wasn’t long before they doubled the lead through Frazer McColl, and it was 3-0 shortly after as Foster picked up his second.

Mikey Gilson converted Vince Pretorious’ pass to make it 4-0 before Foster completed his hat-trick with a fifth before half time.

Keeper Alex Blanco had a relatively quiet afternoon, with only a few short corners to deal with in the second period, but MK were in scoring mood again when Foster added his fourth.

And he wrapped it up with his fifth and MK’s seventh late in the day.
