The focus for many was on gaining Summer National qualification.

>> Three swimmers represented City of Milton Keynes Swim Club at the 2016 British Championships in Glasgow recently. The meet was attended by the top GB swimmers hoping to qualify for a number of major meets in the summer, in particular the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Max Murphy swam well with a new personal best coming 6th in the Junior 400m Freestyle final. Oliver Lines also swam a personal best and club record 100m Butterfly with a very strong finish.

Unfortunately, Tom Flaherty was affected by illness and injury in his preparation.

Two CMK members who now train in Loughborough had excellent results. Joss Ulyett came 6th in the 200m Breaststroke final and Charlotte Evans won the Target Tokyo (2020) final gaining selection to the GB squad for European Championships.
