A shock win for MK Kingpins over Greenleys Monarchs handed the MK Table Tennis League Premier Division crwon to MK Spinners without them even needing to play.

Kingpins were 6-4 winners over Monarchs, who played their final fixture 24 hours before Spinners.

Spinners finished with an 8-2 win over MK Walking Wounded thanks to maximums from Alan Cherry and Gary Jones.

Powers gave a Premier debut to up and coming Jamie Hendy in their match with third place MK Sasaki. Jamie was the ninth player Powers have used this season, the most by any team.

Sasaki ran out 9-1 winners with Peter Tillotson taking the consolation win over Thai-Anh Lieu. Maximums here for the Wootton duo of Matt Evans and Ed Simms.

Finally spare a thought for MK Phoenix. Hammered all season long (including 9 black-washes) and a record Premier low score of just 27 points, they competed bravely till and ended with an 8-2 defeat to Greenleys Kings.
