Table-topping MK 4ths thrash OMT to make it six

Milton Keynes 4ths moved four points clear atop MBBO Division 6 as they crushed OMT 4ths on Saturday.

The 4-1 win - their sixth in a row - sees them move four points clear of chasers OMT 3rds.

MK 3rds reversed their trend of five straight defeats with a 2-1 win over Wycombe 2nds.

After suffering a 6-2 thumping at the hands of Leighton Buzzard 3rds last week, MK 3rds stunned third-placed Wycombe with two first half goals.

Winning their first short corner after 10 minutes, Jonny Wyatt reacted quickly to pick out Will Luther to fire in the opener.

The lead lasted just five minutes though as Wycombe got men over to score at the far post.

It didn’t set back MK for long, and within 10 minutes they had restored their lead as David Breuilly broke away at pace to beat the keeper and secure all three points.

MK Samuari made the long trip to Maidenhead and were rewarded with a draw, albeit goal-less with the Maidenhead Monarchs.
