The rugby league season is just around the corner, and MK Wolves are chomping at the bit to get going.

It all begins with the East Rugby League 9s tournament on May 2. MK Wolves won this title last season, and will be keen to put up a strong defence.

The first game of the new East RL Premier Division season will be a home match on Saturday 9th May against Kings Lynn Black Knights at the Wolves’ new home of Manor Fields, Bletchley.

Wolves’ spokesman Pete Nuttall said: “This will be a huge season for us. We’ve got a new home, we’ve got some of the best coaches in the division, and we’re all looking to create a team for MK to be proud of.

The players we’ve seen in training have given us a great optimism for the season, but we’re always looking for more to join us.

“Pre-season training has been fantastic with great numbers turning up, but the club will always welcome new players.”

First Team training takes place on a Wednesday evenings from 7.30-9pm at Manor Fields.
