Young Taekwondo star from Milton Keynes brings home the medals

Primary school pupil Zaw Torley is thrilled to have won two medals at his first competition with the Great Britain Poomsae Taekwondo Team.

Zaw, who attends St Mary Magdalene Catholic Primary School, travelled to Hamburg, Germany, with the team last weekend, where he won Bronze in Under 11 Poomsae and Silver in Freestyle.

Overall, Team GB secured 1 Gold, 4 Silver and 10 Bronze medals as well as 4th National Team award.

Zaw was selected in December 2017 to join the National Team and has quickly achieved results with the help of the GB coaches as well as his club coach, Chris Wood at Creative Ways Taekwondo based in Bradville/Bradwell.
