THE Olney Duck and Raft Race returns to the town this Sunday, and there is only a little pun intended when we say that you would be quackers to miss it!
Things will be even bigger and better this year too, with plenty of new attractions and entertainment at the finish line.
MK Friends of the Caribbean will be serving hot stuff, and you can show how well you can bend, at the limbo competition for all ages!
Guide Dogs for the Blind will be showing off plenty of canine class and if you want something a little bit naughty, but very, very nice, go visit Mrs P’s bakery stall and let a bit of sweetness in.
Local awareness campaign for testicular cancer, Olney’s Got Balls will also be on hand with side shows including Beat The Goalie.
If it’s ball based, organiser Chris Ward will have organised it, with plenty of other ball-based games.
The Graham Fulford Charitable Trust will be offering a free PSA blood test to check for the disease, and Chris will give a talk on the issue.
The entertainment starts at 2pm, while the beaky-yellow rubber things head off at 1pm around the weir at Emberton Park.
Rafting is the way at this event though, and the heat will be on as the Hollow Wood Surfers strive to defend their record...
