Advance sales of Ampthill Proms breaks record!


Ampthill Proms broke its own record of advanced sales this week - and with the weather forecast looking good, a bumper crowd is expected on Saturday night at Ampthill Park.

Proms chair Yvonne Young said: “This is fantastic news and testament to all the hard work put into this event.

“We are gearing up for a truly special night under the stars in Ampthill Park for what will be a magical evening of entertainment.”

It comes hot on the heels of news that AmpRocks broke its own record sales with more than 4,000 expected to see The Happy Mondays on Friday July 4.

In addition, the inaugurual Literary Festival confirmed today it has also SOLD OUT while more than 5,000 are expected to turn out for the Ampthill Gala Day on Sunday.

Festival Chairman Richard Benson added: “Every year I am amazed at the response, but this year has truly exceeded all expectations - it is going to be a brilliant weekend!”

Tickets are priced at just £15 in advance or £20 on the door, with children half price. - further details on
