They had a vision to bring together communities and to provide a place to showcase India’s heritage, culture and diversity – and so the India Day was born, an extravaganza of fun and lively entertainment.

This is the third year it has taken place, with a bigger and better carnival each time. The event helps promote local and international businesses and attracts visitors and locals alike.

Sponsors supporting the event help cover the costs and a 200-strong group of volunteers give their time to plan, co-ordinate, and run the event every year.
