'International Baby' is the follow up to the 20-year-old's third single 'Quick Drive' and is another irreverent take on Gen Z life.

The song was produced by Trey McNair, Niko explained his headspace when writing his latest track, he said: "I wanted to make a song that you could bop around to while standing on your kitchen table, Trey McNair sent me the beat and it was PERFECT.

"In the lyrics I speak about loads of things personal to me and also things that regular kids my age could relate to for example pasta king, how expensive clothes are, I even have a lyric about Butlins in this song. When I get married I’ll probably sprint down the aisle to this song.”

Lucy Hickling directed the video that enabled Niko to ride a horse for the first time in his life and also allowed him to show off his very own personally designed toothbrush merchandise.

The video was shot locally in Newport Pagnell and meshes everyday life with Niko's absurdist humour. Highlights include watching the 20-year-old try and smoke a Twix and watching the Youtuber turned rapper eating a full bag of croissants whilst playing lifeguard for an empty swimming pool. Niko added: "I came up with the music video the same way I do most videos, just listened to the song through headphones and then just wrote down everything I visualised onto paper.

"Kept it local to where I live as I want it to be authentic. There’s also a lyric about pasta king, somehow we reached out to them and they ended up loving the song and providing me with an actual pasta king food trolley for the video mate that’s better than receiving a Grammy.”

The MK Citizen chronicled Niko's rise from bedroom artist and DIY clothes designer to rising Gen-Z star in August.

Niko has received nods of approval from the likes of British Vogue, GQ, MTV, Evening Standard, BBC Radio 1, Capital Radio and more - even gaining acclaim internationally from The New York Times.
