The man who gave Oasis a record deal wants to give the homeless a bed, and has launched an ambitious new campaign. Alan McGee’s Musicians Against Homelessness is raising funds for Crisis. Here in MK, three days of sounds will cut loose this week, with artists including Manny Ademolu, Stone Thieves (above), Starlings & Sparrows, and Apple Shift Seven taking part – together with others mentioned elsewhere on this page.

Alan said: “The support in Newport Pagnell and Milton Keynes has been tremendous and inspiring and it’s fantastic to see so many come forward to take part. Although our primary concern is to combat the scourge of homelessness it is vital that the gigs also give up and coming bands a chance to play to larger audiences.”
