Once again the venue will be transformed into various areas making this a festival for all the senses, with an unparalleled focus on jaw-dropping production and head-spinning entertainment – from morning to night! New for 2016 is the Crystal Village stage, which stands 30 metres tall and 70 metres wide.It houses cascading waterfalls, a fog-breathing dragon, more than 400 video tiles, 28 lasers, multi-coloured flames and 15 co2 cannons, all overseen by EDCs signature owls. Foo 5ighters, the UK’s most energetic Foo Fighters tribute band are playing the

MK11 in Kiln Farm this Friday, and the seasoned performers come fresh to

us from a Derbyshire festival, where they brought the rock to more than 15,000 people.

Video Release

Milton Keynes alt-rockers A World Away release their new video, Wake Me Up today. It’s taken from the quintet’s debut EP by the same name which is set for release later this month. The band have played with Mallory Knox and Young Guns.

DAXTONBURY FESTIVAL

Podington, north Bedfordshire, July 8 to 10

The Workshop Boys, Pearl Handled Revolver, Lost4Words, Ouse Valley Singles Club and The Ivories are just some of the acts playing at the the family-friendly festival, held in memory of Biggleswade man Chris Kelly, and which will raise money for various medical charities.
