THE first Sanctuary reunion earlier this year was a rip-roaring success, and so it is no surprise that the organisers have been working on a second party.

But this show could be seen as a festive escape route too – seeing as how it is happening on Boxing Day.

This is one present far too big to fit under the Christmas tree of any dance fan, mind, with a whopping 37 artists playing across three arenas, spanning nine genres.

Santa would be hard pushed to fit that load on his sleigh...

Oceana is your hosting venue and here’s how the cool yule breaks down.

In Arena 1, Garage and Jungle will be peddled with Slimzee and MC B joined by Macabre Unit with D Double E (top left), Mikee B with MC PSG, Sticky with Mighty Moe and DJs Celia, Dazzler, XS and J Hurley also depositing the good stuff.

It’s A Licious Thing head up Arena 2, welcoming sets of the decidedly funky, bashment, Hip Hop and RnB.

To that end, it’ll be over to Funky Dee, DJ Dappa with Slim Saga, DJ Slaxtar with Hype Kronik, and DJs Shimmer, Wrecky, Jas and Ash getting lairy in the best possible way.

Arena 3 is all about the Nostalgic side, with Dubstep and Drum N Bass all over the place, thanks to Demont_!, Roksonix, DEFine, Fused Forces, ICU, Mark S, Flux, Wildone, Skilzee, FT, Three4Ten, Fraudsta, Wordzee, Grimdog and Bash all having a go.

It’s monster fun and massive music, and Oceana will welcome an audience that could hit 2000 revellers.

The Sanctuary Reunion, part deux gets under way from 10pm – your signal for five hours of fun, and the biggest event of type to hit the new city in a decade.

Lightweights can always make use of the Boudoir room to chill with the still for a wee while before heading back into the heart of the action.

The ‘horns and whistles’ affair will set you back a tenner if you buy in advance, and normal dress code rules are in place.
