WOBURN Safari Park is a real jewel in our crown, and a great place to while away the day, writes Sammy Jones.
And as it is so local, it doesn’t involve a tedious three hour car journey with the family packed in tight, and a boot brimming with bits and bobs for every eventuality before you get there.
You can play for longer, and later!
Woburn has organised a fabulous kiddie-friendly event for Saturday too, and they have named it Active Easter.
All of the events dialled in will give youngsters fantastic, interesting ways to learn more about the wild animals that live at the Safari Park.
Children can sign up for a special egg and spoon race with a surprising twist, or show their spring in the Joey Jump race, where you can learn plenty more about the wallabies and their latest arrivals, like the wee nipper on the right.
Snuggly-buggly pouch power!
From the roar of the majestic lions to the sheer size of the white rhino and bears, it is a perfect way to spend the day and promises to engage with any age.
