THE Muppets hit the big screen this week, with the classic tale, a Christmas Carol.

The Brian Henson directed feature is puppet-perfection and set to bring some seasonal delight to visitors of Fullers Slade Community Centre tomorrow evening, from 6.30pm.

It is the latest instalment from the Vagabond Film Group, and among all the puppetry, you will find only one human – Michael Caine stars as Scrooge in the piece which has been narrated by The Great Gonzo, who plays Dickens!

It’s a classic, easy, fun film, but hard to believe that The Muppet’s Christmas Carol originally hit the big screen the best part of two decades ago.

Just where does the time go to?!

The Community Centre is located at Rowan’s Children’s Centre and admission is £2, falling to half of that for concessions.
