BEATDOWN Productions return to The Pitz this Friday evening.
The outside promotion team present Bedford based Hekz (bottom left), who straddle the line between rock and metal comfortably enough.
This date is their first in the new city for quite some time, and they are being joined by fellow new city collective Keeper of the Rifle, who have a new EP ready to plug.
If you’ve a few quid spare at the show, you should be able to swap it for a copy.
London-based all-girl alternatives Black Nazarene have signed up too.
This lot have already gigged across Europe and last year played the V Festival, but this is their first time in the Keynes.
Opening up the night, Bedfordian-bunch Kain.
Tickets are a fiver and doors open from 7.30pm for the 14+ show.
More from Beatdown in April...
>At The Craufurd Arms in Wolverton, Sunday night belongs to Underpass Promotions, who offer Me Vs Hero (that’s them, top left), ...Save Your Breath, Summerlin and Embrace The Tide.
Between the four rabbles of sound, you can expect pop-punk more pop-punk, and – thanks to local-ites Embrace The Tide, a base of technical, melodic metal which comes with a smattering of sounds from other styles and genres.
Doors open at 7pm and tickets are on sale now at £7.
Leave it until the night and you’ll pay £2 more on the door.
