Footwork returns to give you a sharp musical kick this week, and they are holding the bash at The Buszy, “a special party for all those who have supported us at our smaller events,” says ‘sole-trader’, Kenty.
Saturday’s event is an opportunity to welcome back DJ Zinc - in these parts for the first time since the rave days of The Sanctuary.
Now that is taking things back a little way, right?
“Since becoming a dance legend in the drum ‘n’ bass scene, Zinc has now pioneered a new brand of house music and re-invented himself - much like the MK scene,” Kenty considers.
Also showing out at the 500 capacity venue, smack bang opposite the train station of course, will be Donkie Punch and the usual residents, and with two rooms to play with the second space will boast deeper sounds, being headed up by Terry Bedeau.
Doors open at 8pm, and the sounds won’t quieten down until 3am. Tickets are £9 in advance from www.facebook.com/footwork
