IN 2007, Firetone bagged the City Nights Band Blitz winners award, but things have moved on since then and the band is no more.

But that isn’t to say that the members aren’t still active, mind.

This evening, front man Ande stage steps for the first time with his new project.

“It’s pop rock with a hint of post-rock – think 30 Seconds to Mars – meets Sigur Ros,” Ande told City Nights.

The bash is also an opportunity to collect a limited edition of his debut EP, but you will have to move fast for this – just 60 are available.

The gig is being hosted at the Craufurd Arms in Wolverton, and how much you pay is down to your discretion.

Minimum donations of £2 are asked for, but you pay what you feel the gig is worth.

Support comes from Footswitch and Social Status and doors open at 7.30pm.

The new ensemble have made three of their tracks available online.
