Heavy blues rock duo The Graveltones are set to play in Milton Keynes as part of their UK tour.

The Australian pair return to the Craufurd Arms tomorrow in support of their current album Love Lies Dying, which released back in May.

Formed in 2011, guitarist Jimmy O and drummer Mikey Sorbello were brought together by a mutual love of artists including Howlin Wolf and Queens of the Stone Age.

They went on to release their debut album Don’t Wait Down in 2013 to critical acclaim, touring with bands Rival Sons and The Temperance Movement, as well as playing a lauded set at Download Festival the same year.

Their debut single I Want Your Love fronted cosmetic giant Rimmel’s television advertising campaign, with the decidedly annoyingKate Moss. Still, at least the soundtrack was a good ‘un.

The duo were also nominated for the Best New Band award at the 2013 Classic Rock Awards.

“Recording this album felt so right,” Mikey said, “We had the right producer and engineer and the sounds just fell out of us.”

Doors open at 7:30pm.
