MARSHALL Amplification is used to welcoming rock royalty through the doors of its Bletchley HQ.

And last week they had a visit from a real master of the axe – Kerry King from Slayer.

Kerry popped in to visit his pals at Marshall with current band mate Gary Holt from Exodus.

Gary is filling in for Jeff Hanneman who has been forced off the road by a bacterial virus.

The two fellas made the most of their time in the new city, enjoying a tour of the factory and taking up the opportunity to try out the new AFD100 amplifier.

Marshall also presented Kerry with one of their 1962 Jaguar Bluesbreaker limited edition combos, which is as special in the amp world as Kerry is to the thrash world! Only 40 of the pieces were made.

It is covered in cream leather, hand stitched by Jaguar and handwired by Marshall...and all of the metal components are gold plated.

While on site, Kerry also signed one of his signature BC Rich guitars, and a 2203KK head, which have now been added to Marshall’s impressive museum...
