Lions to make big Stantonbury roar

A chorus of sound...
A chorus of sound...

READY for a big noise?

The Lions Club of Bletchley is sponsoring a chorus of sound at Stantonbury Campus this Saturday, with more than 250 amateur singers from five choirs letting their voices ring loud.

Those taking part are pooled from choirs around London and the South Midlands, and yep, there are more than a few Milton Keynes folks taking part.

Proceeds will be given to local charities.

The concert will begin at 7.30pm and tickets are £12.

>THE Grocer’s Son is the French film offering airing at the OU Film Society this Wednesday evening.

This is the story of city-boy Antoine who is somewhat reluctantly drawn back into the city business in Provence.

There are, as usual, two opportunities to view – at 6.15 and 8.45pm, at the OU Lecture Theatre on Walton Hall Campus.
