MK-BASED quartet Duke of Marmalade hold the official release party for their new EP Say It Like You Mean it, at Bletchley WMC this Saturday night.
The band, who are signed to the Newtown Records label, will use the show to entice more ears to their way of playing, but then they should be used to taking on new listeners – apparently they have been gigging with gusto in recent times.
How to describe their style?
“...value for money, uplifting British Indie rock that you just have to dance to.
“Skanking is optional,” they say.
“We have worked very hard to create our own original sound,” front man Nick Harper says. “All of us have different musical tastes...musical differences are what drives this band and what makes us a little different.”
Saturday’s show boasts able support by Casual Panic and your compere will be Trigger The Postman.
Doors open at 7.30pm, and admission won’t break you, at just £3 a hit.
