THE third annual Fragfest will be housed at Wolverton’s Craufurd Arms on Sunday, uniting a fusion of sounds in what organisers promise is ‘a celebration of music, love and fun for all, writes Sammy Jones.

Certainly they have done their utmost to score some big guns on the musical front – they’ve bagged a set from the mighty Stray with Del Bromham, that’s them with Maiden’s Steve Harris.

He won’t be appearing, though, ok?

Fragfest was originally set up in memory of local music lover Fraggle, and to that end, once again monies raised by the day of cool will be handed over to Headway, the charity that supports people with brain injuries.

Among the many other mobs performing will be the blues brilliant Pearl Handled Revolver, glam n rollers Lionsex and new city favourites The Curvy Love Dogz.

If you want to check a guitarist who will metaphorically knock your socks off, have a look at The Aaron Keylock Band.

A full-list of all those players playing across the two stages is below right.

Fragfest doesn’t do things by half measures (and the Craufurd Bar doesn’t either), and so you can get set for a whopping 10 hours of musical mayhem to start tugging at your lug-holes from 1pm...

Admission to the big bash is free, but we’ve already told you that Headway is the beneficiary of monies raised, so take a few quid along for the bucket collection.

Oh, and in tribute to Fraggle and all that is sunny, wear something purple, ok?
