A SLEW of progressive and tech metal talent will be taking no prisoners when they raise the temperature and the volume significantly at The Craufurd Arms this Friday night.
Having newly inked a deal with Basick Records, Aliases will be showing the skill that saw them swiftly signed.
They began making friends with the demo track We Never Should Have Met, wihch caused a bit of an online stir last year...
“Aliases are excited to be hitting up some stages across the UK,” shouted guitarist Leah Woodward.
“What could be better than that?
“Other than doing it alongside some incredibly talented musicians and our good friends in Chimp Spanner and Cyclamen!”
Cyclamen gave fans a couple of reasons to smile in 2010 – the Dreamers EP and the album, Senjyu, while Chimp Spanner turned heads too, with the release of his fusion-prog-metal delivery At The Dream’s Edge.
Collectively, this makes for one potent show of the heavy-heavy, which also features The Machinest, with more bands still to be announced.
“We are really excited to have managed to organised this tour – all three bands are pushing boundaries of experimental/progressive metal in very different ways and we are certainly honoured to be a part of this tour with Aliases and Chimp Spanner, who constantly inspire us,” commented Cyclamen’s Hayato Imanishi.
Tickets are £6 in advance.
