Peter Andre will perform in a live version of the timeless musical at Milton Keynes Theatre from Monday August 23-28.
It's worth noting that Andre is advertised as appearing in 'selected performances', in a cryptic tweet on the MK Theatre official account.
The event has been rescheduled for after the anticipated reopening of the country's indoor entertainment industry, as per the government's roadmap out of lockdown.
Barring any dramatic shifts in Coronavirus infection rates, or the effectiveness of the vaccination rollout theatres should be reopening on May 17.
Other forms of indoor entertainment such as cinemas, pubs and restaurants are also scheduled to reopen then. Pubs and restaurants will return next Monday (April 12) in an outdoor only capacity.
Andre's dual performance as Teen Angel and Danny Fontaine will be directed, by Nikolai Foster. Theatre legend, and former Strictly Come Dancing judge, Arlene Phillips is choreographing the performance.
Tickets are available for £13 here, all existing bookings for the event before it was rescheduled remain valid.
Other shows on sale at Milton Keynes Theatre currently, include live versions of the Addams Family and The Rocky Horror Picture show booked for June and July respectively. Live comedy will also return to MK with Jimmy Carr and Romesh Ranganathan both hoping to perform in MK in 2021.
