ALL year long AIM Gallery has delivered consistently good exhibitions by new city artists and for its final show of the year, starting today, it carries on in much the same way.

The cleverly titled Picture a Present showcase is a real mix of crafty people too, with a huge variety of media working into the space for your delight.

Paintings, textiles, sculpture, wood-turning, ceramics and jewellery all has a space in the show, as does photography.

This beautiful picture of the Almshouses at Great Linford is one of those on display, and was taken by super talented snapper Trevor White.

“There will be items to suit every pocket and every taste – a veritable Christmas bazaar to search through and enjoy and find delightful gifts in good time for Christmas,” said AIMs Georgeanne Scott.

“A wonderful range of unique ideas to tempt and inspire...”

AIM is open between 10am and 4pm, Tuesday to Saturday but you do need to be on the ball if you want to make someone’s Christmas with a unique piece of art – the gallery will be closed Christmas week.

>The Stani Gallery in Stony Stratford is still hosting the exhibition Celebration, which runs through to the start of the new year.

Painting, photography, ceramics, glass, sculpture, blacksmithing, wood and pottery all have a home at Stani, which is situated on the High Street in the town.
